When should I book my cake?
Ideally, as early as possible but of course, this isn’t always possible.
Contact Creative Cakes to check if your date is available. Cakes are booked on a first come, first served basis.
We only accept a limited number of cakes for a given date in order to ensure that we are providing the highest quality craftsmanship to your cake.
We are often booked months ahead of time, so we encourage you to reserve your date early on.
Wedding cakes and other large event cakes are typically booked 6 months to 1 year prior. For last minute requests, please contact us to discuss availability.
Do I need to book an appointment to come in and see your cakes?
Yes, we prefer to meet couples in person.
Please come prepared. Bring 2 or 3 design choices.
You may choose from our portfolio or any magazine photos, images from websites or your own sketches.
Bring your colour swatches or wedding invitations. Anything you intend to incorporate into your cake we will need to see.
If you choose to order with Creative Cakes you will need to be prepared to remit a €100 deposit which reserves our services and is non-refundable.
However, it still amazes us how easy it can be to organise a wedding cake by email / phone / online and without ever meeting the couple face to face, which is very helpful for couples planning their wedding from abroad.

How do I select a cake through the website?

Our website allows clients to pay online and have the selected cake delivered to a specified location.
To buy a cake online, simple the select the cake you like and follow the onscreen instructions to purchase.

May I hold the date?
Yes, you may hold the date to guarantee that we will make your wedding cake.
You will need to fill out a booking form and put down a fee of €100 to secure your date.
When you have decided on a design and structure, you can come in and finalize your contract with a consultant.
The cake design and all of the details must be finalized and paid in full one month prior to your date.
What size cake do I need?
The amount of cake you will need is dependent on a range of different factors including:
– The number of people expected to attend the event
– Will the cake be serviced on its own or as part of a meal
In the case of a wedding, the cake will normally be cut into finger slices and be serviced either after the dessert (as is the case with larger weddings) or as the dessert, as is normally the case with smaller, boutique weddings.
Our team can advise you on the amount of cake you will need based on the specifics of your event.
With this in mind, it can be helpful to have the number of guests attending your event in mind, during your consultation.

Yes, we offer nationwide delivery.
Delivery charges are based on mileage and time, so please inquire for a quote if you have a specific location in mind.
If you choose to collect your wedding cake, we will not be held liable for any damages to the cake once it has left our premises.
